Consumption and Consequence (2006), Prosperity and Decay (2006), Love Chairs (2007)

Favorite 3D artist, british James Hopkins. I’ve mentioned his work back in February. Gotta love the hidden images within his art.

Hopkins’ work challenges the way we view familiar, everyday objects and this is the driving idea behind ‘Love Seat’.

Hidden meanings, surprises and optical illusions are rife in Hopkins’ work so it’s no surprise to learn what his chosen profession would be, were he not a designer: ‘I’d be a magician, of course.’
